One of my main concerns (whether I do it myself or if someone else does it) is the water and that little ridge around the glass edge that is on the Thrive....you know what I am talking about. Seems to me with the amount of water/solution that everyone says to use to get any of these protectors on without a large hassle, would get into that groove and could cause problems when squeegying out the liquid. Any reassurance on this? I use the Zagg. I installed it myself, but I think I would recommend purchase from BB and pay them to install. They will eat the cost of additional ones until they get it right. As for the water, I had no issues. The dry install ones just are too much trouble to get...

I own the Toshiba Thrive and bought the 2nd screen protector from a friend as they applied the first one without a problem, so they gave me the 2nd one.
This is the same type of screen protector I have on my smart phones and Nintendo DS Lite. It does not use glue or liquids. It simply has a very light tacky backing that peel off easy without residue.
Living in Phoenix, AZ, there is WAY too much dust here. I turned off all fans and AC to make sure as little dust was moving around as possible during install. I used bright light at an angle so I could see dust on the screen and was literally wiping away dust with a micro cloth (included) right before application.
