Oct 10, 2010 from rjfxb(wei)
Weve previously discussed the potential pricing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and reports of $900-1300 price tags in parts of Europe have indicated that its going to be an expensive device to buy unlocked. Now a leaked slide that TmoNews managed to get its hands on has revealed what T-Mobile is going to charge for the tablet. If the document is to be believed, the Galaxy Tab will cost $399 on a 2-year contract, after a $50 rebate. Originally posted here: Samsung Galaxy Tab on T-Mobile pricing...

It appears that AT&T has started offering a data-only plan; as of the time I originally wrote this they did not. However, they’ve also bought T-Mobile since then, meaning that now you’ve actually got only ONE choice to get it online. I do notice that their data-only plan looks a lot like T-Mobile’s old one.
Coincidence? You decide.
I’ll leave this review up for awhile – my Galaxy is currently out on loan, when I get it back I just might try AT&T again.
= ORIGINAL REVIEW =
I won’t take the time to review the features of this tab – there are plenty of reviews available. It’s a great device & the Droid OS rocks. My comment has to do with the connectivity.
UNLOCKED SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 7.7 REVIEWS, PRICE FULL ...
by Robert
&Nbsp;playback options are very good, so it looks like the Galaxy Tab 7.7 might be a strong contender for both business and domestic customers. The sides are well curved and offer a natural and ergonomic grip, while the brushed metal back adds a higher-quality physical appearance than the plastic shell of the original 7-inch Galaxy Tab . Comparison shots between the two 7(ish)-inch Galaxy Tabs are available after the break, but I’m struck by the impression that the 7.7 model has more to do with its fellow 2011 Tabs than the one it most logically replaces, the Tab 7. The latter is now a year old (almost retirement age...
I get this stuff or device last two days,i rate also this device or my new samsung tab gt p1000 is 4 star because this device is great you dont need get new line to use data and phone line,if u have line already what ever att or t. mobile , just insert the sim instantly u have a tablet and phone at the same time much better if your sim carrier is t.mobile , u dont need to get extra data plan just your current data plan and thats it. also i advice t o get the unlocked samsung tab .because when you get in store like verizon,t.mlbile or sprint carrier you must get data plan that cause you a lot of money is not worthed . so right now im very happy and impressed this kind of device, internet no problem...
As a current iPad owner who also uses the Droid X, I must say that after spending 15 minutes with this thing I absolutely love it. The size is fantastic in that its a signifcantly improved viewing experience over the 4.3 inch Droid X screen (which is also great) and it is easy to hold with one hand and navigate with the other – an added bonus is that it also fits in a suit coat pocket.
The Microsoft Exchange integration with email/calendar/contacts is seemless and allows for almost all of the functionality provided via a laptop. One of the drawbacks of the iPad is its poor integration with Outlook (couldn’t delete, move emails while one a plane working offline – not a problem with the Tab).
