I want to buy galaxy tab, but i don't really understand the different between 8.9 and 7..
I'm happy with my Tab. 8.9" might be nice, but right now, 7" feels like the best without feeling too big. Maybe if I didn't have this Tab and had the 8.9" I'd think the same about that. Who knows. But I'm sticking with this Tab.

Apple-Samsung Dispute: Galaxy Tab 7.7 Pulled in Germany, iPad ...
by Eric Slivka
The wide-ranging intellectual property battle between Apple and Samsung has continued in recent days, with one of the more notable events taking place in Germany, where Apple won a new preliminary injunction against Samsung requiring the company to remove its new Galaxy Tab 7.7 from the expo floor at the IFA show in Berlin as part of a broader ban against sale and promotion of the device.
Samsung Electronics Co., the world's second-biggest handset maker, unveiled the Galaxy Tab 7.7 for the first time at the annual trade fair, known as the IFA, which kicked off on Friday for a six-day run in Berlin. But Samsung pulled the tablet computer out of the show after a Dusseldorf court accepted on Friday Apple's request to ban sales and marketing of the product in Germany, the company said.
Here it is, official as official gets: Samsung just announced the Galaxy Tab 7.7. As the name suggests, it has a 7.7-inch (1280 x 800) display -- specifically, a Super AMOLED Plus panel. Like so many other 7-inchers hitting the market, it runs Android 3.2 and yes, that's a skinned flavor of Honeycomb, with Samsung's tablet-optimized TouchWiz UX layered on top. Inside, it runs the same Samsung-made dual-core 1.4GHz processor found in the new Galaxy Note , along with an HSPA+ radio promising theoretical download speeds as high as 21Mbps. Other specs for the 0.74-pound (335-gram) tablet include 16GB to 64GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 5,100mAh battery rated for 10 hours, 802.11n...
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 – Last year was a really attention-grabbing one for technology, because it saw the birth of the tablet pc a minimum of as we all know it nowadays. Apple all over again took the mobile world all of sudden by unveiling its iPad, that quickly managed to remodel itself from a “gigantic iPod”, to the newest craze, proving that tablets have a big spot within the gift and way forward for client computing. Naturally, everybody else followed suit and commenced work on their own tablet solutions. Samsung was among the primary ones to deliver a product to the market, within the type of its Galaxy Tab. However, the 7” slate was never extremely thought of a real opponent to the iPad. except for its smaller form-factor, what truly left it uncompetitive was its software platform. it absolutely was close to the tip of 2010, and Honeycomb wasn’t quite finished however. Thus, the Galaxy Tab ran Froyo – a reality, which, for the foremost half, wrote its unfortunate destiny.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7″ Shown off in the Wild | Android Community

The photo shown above, as well as another at the source, claim this to be the new Samsung Galaxy 7.7″ Tab. While the blurrycam image above does get me a little excited as I think a 7.7″ Honeycomb tablet would be an awesome size and just right for portability. Then they have a second photo that makes me a little iffy and start to second guess it. Looking just like the original Samsung Galaxy Tab 7″ in the second photo our sources provide we can’t really be sure what we are looking at.
We know a Galaxy Tab 7.7″ is coming and most likely with a Super AMOLED Display like we saw leaked here . In that and other recent leaks we are lead to believe the new Galaxy Tab would be running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb but the leaked photos show capacitive touch buttons, something we don’t need with Honeycomb. Either way I’m excited to see what Samsung has coming but for now I’ll be taking these photos with a grain of salt. What do you guys think?
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Unveiled, HD AMOLED Display and 1.4 ...
by Cory Gunther
Where do I start. This 7.7″ Tablet will be powered by a 1.4 Ghz dual-core processor, Android 3.2 Honeycomb, have that amazing Super AMOLED Plus Display with a 1280×800 resolution as said above, 1GB Ram, come in 16GB, 32GB, and a 64GB variant. 3MP rear camera with flash and 2MP front for video chat and more. It measures just 7.89 millimeters thin and weighs only 335 grams (12 ounces), basically making this tablet one of the most portable devices in the market. We have a 5,100 mAh battery for over 10 hours of video playback all wrapped in that tiny package.
If you noticed from the images we also see 3G on board. This tablet will feature full voice and video call capabilities with HSPA+ 21 Mbps network connectivity (We’ll see how US carriers take to that idea). We have 1080p video playback, micro SD support and all of this is running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb. Exact dimensions are 196.7x 133 x 7.89mm and like previously mentioned it only weighs in at 335 grams making this thing extremely lightweight. All of that in a package that is thinner than the Amazon Kindle, do want.
