Can the Samsung galaxy tab be "reformatted" to its factory setting?

I'm planning to buy a second hand samsung galaxy tab but I want to know if it could be reformatted to its original factory setting without the previous owners files. I'm not familiar with the android 2.2
yes you can, here are the steps: settings -> privacy -> factory data reset.
it will delete any customized application, and restore all settings to it original.
but it will not delete:
- your data on micro sd card

What is better the Samsung Galaxy Tab or The Motorola Xoom?

yes u can use it. Internet plan is for sim's operator and not for phone.
You can change 'n' number of phones and use airtel internet on that phone.
Call airtel customer care and ask him to send internet settings which are compatible

I’ve been a happy owner of the original Apple iPad for more than a year now. It’s an awesome tablet and everyone in the house is completely happy with it.
But, how does it compare with the competition one year later?
Sadly, not so good. The new Samsung Galaxy tab comes chock-full of interesting features, and I can’t wait to get my hands on them in person and try it out for myself.

Having said that, I wonder what kind of tune will Samsung sing after they mentioned earlier on that they have no concrete plans as of yet (or have refrained from announcing them) to sell the device in the US, so if Germany has laid down the banhammer (with the rest of Europe probably following after that), where else will Samsung peddle their wares?
Good thing Samsung is not going to take all of this lying down, claiming that the new injunction “severely limits consumer choice in Germany”, and the South Korean conglomerate will take “all available measures, including legal options” in order to be competitive in the European market.

The company has pulled its recently unveiled Galaxy Tab 7.7 out of the IFA consumer-electronics show in Berlin following a Dusseldorf court ruling Friday granting Apple's request to ban sales and marketing of the product, Bloomberg reported.
The ruling may cost Samsung sales of up to half a million units this year, Strategy Analytics estimated.
“Samsung respects the court’s decision,” a Samsung spokesman said, although the company believes it “severely limits consumer choice in Germany.”
The Samsung rep added that the company is considering legal action and other options as it looks to get the ruling overturned.
A rep for Apple, which claims that the Galaxy devices copy its iPhone and iPad, had no immediate comment.

You are no doubt aware that Apple wants the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 banned in Europe but thus far has only managed to get it banned in Germany, and also wants the Android slate banned in Australia. However the word is for the judge to rule on whether a ban is required it appears that Apple may have to prove that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has negative effect on Apple iPad sales in the US and UK.
