Vodafone Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 goes on sale for £229 ...

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is now available on Vodafone, which should come as a great relief for all those involved.

The 10.1-inch Honeycomb tablet will cost £229 if you agree to sign up to a 2-year, £27-a-month contract.

Vodafone has had a turbulent time getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 to its customers, with the company first offering an exclusive model with a better camera before Samsung made the rash decision that the tab wasn’t good enough to compete with the iPad 2.

After that crisis, Vodafone was, for a time, still going to stock the model, instead calling it the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1V to emphasis the difference.

That debacle over, and everything looked set for a smooth ride until last month when Apple sued Samsung in the German courts. A quick court ruling later and it looked like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was never going to make it to market.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G available at TELUS, Bell, Rogers ...

Today you have a vast choice of where you can pick up the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G. TELUS released this tablet yesterday for $649.99, but it was quickly put back to “coming soon” for some reason. In a press release this Android 3.1 tablet became available at a few other carriers: Bell, Rogers, Virgin Mobile and Sasktel. Pricing so far has this on Bell on a 3-year term for $449.95 and we’re told $599.95. The other carriers have not updated their sites yet with pricing.

Highlighted specs are that this has a 10.1-inch display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, 1GHz dual core processor, 3 megapixel rear-facing camera with a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, HSPA+ 21Mbps and Wi-Fi, weighs in at 565 grams and is only 8.6mm thin.
