I just got Samsung Galaxy S, its really great phone however my battery is keep dying even when its on stand by and am not playing with it (games, internet, apps etc). I have to keep recharging it everyday
this is normal for smart phones, make sure your power settings are set to preserve battery life, always make sure the screen is off when not in use and use the back button to close open programmes or they will continue to run in the background or install

What is eating my battery on Samsung Galaxy android?

my GPRS keeps going up and it's taking up all my data. I used my android booster and advanced task killer, but something is still open, but I can't seem to close it. I had a full battery this morning,
First try installing the latest firmware.
I turned off my internet and switched to 2g mode inorder to save battery.
You can do this by going to settings>wireless and network>mobile networks>use packet data (deactivate it)

my phone it lasted for 1 day i just texted mainly for a long time then checked a few mins on the internet(approx10-15mins) and the charge became low, is that normal or is the charged getting drained quickly,

I'm choosing between Galaxy Ace and Galaxy fit.And I'd like to ask from people who own the unit (galaxy fit and galaxy ace) about the performance and battery life of the of both phones as I have read that
I own fit for a month now. Works like Breeze. Battery life is bad. With 30 minutes of calling and 2-3 hours of data usage the battery drains out. It takes 3-4 hrs to charge. May be i will buy 1500/1800 mah battery later. Otherwise the set is a replacement

I've got everything under control but what i need to ask is how to lower the display percent that the phone uses. I've got a normal wallpaper no brightness, what else can i do?
I've done everything
If you want to save your battery life you should do these tips:
1-) Don't turn on your bluetooth all the time
2-) Switch of vibration
2-) Turn off 3G & use EDGE or Wifi
3-) Stop searching for networks
