hey everyone, i was wondering if the motorola xoom was better than the ipad 2. i am going to be using it to take notes in school, and other miscellaneous things. but mainly for schoolwork. for example

Yes definatly buy the Xoom it has a bigger screen and you can get most apps for free instead of buying apps for 99 cents which can add up. also the xoom has a the same amount of processing power as a ipad 2 adn i haven't heard a negative review from anyone

It depends on your needs. If you use Gmail, that's some big points toward the Xoom because of the excellent Gmail app (and the pitiful way that iOS handles Gmail). The aspect ratio of the screen makes it ideal for watching movies, too.

Lol, the iPad 2 has sold millions already, as opposed to the somewhere in the hundred-thousands of the Xoom. People love the Apple branding; doesn't hurt that the iPad 2 is the best tablet on the market, either.
