For those who have a motorola xoom what is your review on it?
I'm pretty much sold on it and will purchase it soon but I'm still looking to hear your experiences.
I would definitely wait for a better tablet. Motorola Xoom is too expensive and overprice. $600 for a Wi-Fi model only. If you want Wi-Fi and 3G model without a data internet contract it would cost you $800. If you want to sign up with Verizon for

I went to Staples today and started playing with a Motorola Xoom. It seemed really cool and I might save up to buy one. Are there any products (Ipad, ect) that you would recommend that are better or cheaper?
Yup flash is supported in Motorola Xoom. =D

Should I get the Motorola Xoom or Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1?
Aug 07, 2011 by Dmitri | Posted in Cell Phones & Plans
I like the design of the Xoom much more than the Tab, because it is metal and durable and not plastic, but I like the light weight and portability of the SGT. The SGT also has a better quality screen.
I bought the Xoom when it came out then returned it and got a Galaxy Tab 10.1. I haven't regretted my decision. Xoom display looks washed out and although it does feel durable, it's so darn heavy and thick for a tablet. Thinness/lightness is a huge feature

May 21, 3565 by Olly | Posted in Other - Electronics
So I am going to start my daily commute of 2 hours a day and want something to do, so looking at tabs and cannot decide which tablet of the above 2 to get.
I will mainly browse the internet,
My suggestions:
Samsung - if you prefer user friendly, sleek, light, and the like.
Motorola - if ports are more important for you.
However, I prefer Samsung tho, for the reputation it got from its users is

Hi ddominic. Good to see you asking a question on here. You've been one helpful person in general for answering questions.
Anyways,I would recommend of course getting the Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Anything with android based OS is pretty

After long wait, on sunday evening I finally got hold of Motorola Xoom tablet that is powered by honeycomb operating system otherwise known as Android 3.0. There is no argument that Android platform has a very large following and that could be the reason why Motorola took advantage of it to come up with Xoom tablets.

With the Xoom release by Motorola that combine Motorola Xoom with Android Honeycomb, is it possible for Motorola Xoom to get the market interest and be iPad competitor?
Motorola Xoom review -- Engadget
by Joshua Topolsky
As we put rubber to road on our Motorola Xoom review, it's important to note that it was only a matter of time before the Android army delivered a proper iPad competitor. Moto's partnership with Google (and use of the 3.0 version of its mobile operating system, Honeycomb ), has made that assumed inevitability a very serious reality. There can be little question that the Xoom is certainly a contender for the hearts and minds of potential tablet buyers in the market. Besides boasting that fancy new software (a completely redesigned experience masterminded by the man behind webOS, Matias Duarte ), the Xoom is equipped with formidable hardware. The 1GHz, NVIDIA Tegra 2-based slate boasts a sizable...
The Motorola Xoom tablet is easily the best competition Apple's iPad has ever seen. Sporting a 10.1-inch screen, front and rear cameras, HDMI output, a dual-core processor, and Google's tablet-optimized version of Android , the Xoom is entering the tablet wars with guns blazing.
Priced at $800 off-contract or $600 with a two-year commitment from Verizon, the Xoom isn't out to win frugal customers. Instead, Motorola is taking the approach used with its successful line of Droid smartphones--emphasizing the device's horsepower and the many capabilities not found on its Apple counterpart.
To this end, the Xoom's spec sheet is an all-star cast of dual-core processors, multimegapixel cameras, expansion slots, and maxed-out RAM. Combine the hardware with Motorola's exclusive access to Google's long-awaited Android Honeycomb operating system, and you have one of the most talked-about tablets of 2011.
How to: Bluetooth Tether to Motorola XOOM Using Original DROID ...
by Droidx
Yesterday we put together our guide on how to wireless tether your DROID X to your Motorola XOOM , but wanted to make sure we covered all of the original DROID members out there as well. And since the original DROID creates an ad-hoc spot rather than infrastructure like the DX or various other phones, a standard wireless tether won’t work, so we have to go with Bluetooth instead. Luckily, the Wireless Tethering app from the market has a Bluetooth option, and that’s exactly what we’ll be using here. I should also point out that this method does require that you root your original DROID, but for those of you with a DX, D2 or Pro, you can apparently do this without rooting.
Motorola Xoom Review – How it Stacks Up! – Top Cell Phones

The Motorola Xoom is one of the many new dual core Android tablets on the market which runs version 3.0 of Google’s operating system and boasts a plethora of premium features to differentiate it from its smartphone siblings. The obvious comparisons with the Apple iPad 2 are bound to cloud many Motorola Xoom review scores, but this is a tablet which deserves to be considered in its own right.
Motorola XoomThe first thing that will strike you about the Motorola Xoom is the display, which measures 10.1 inches across the diagonal and provides plenty of real estate to let you use your fingers to interact with homescreen elements, apps and web pages. Onboard a dual core processor with two physical cores clocked at 1GHz apiece gives it the kind of oomph that is required to run multiple apps and complex programmes without a hitch.
