Dixons cuts Motorola Xoom price to £329
21.05.95
Retailer Dixons has slashed the price of 32GB Motorola Xoom to £329, providing a hint that the tablet is struggling to attract customers.
The price hack is considerable when we take its launch price of £500 into account.
Apart from the 32GB Wi-Fi-only model, the 3G model is also now considerably cheaper than Apple’s entry-level 3G iPad. The Motorola Xoom 3G tablet now only costs £399, £100 cheaper than the 16GB 3G iPad.
Both versions run on Google’s Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS, and feature 10.1-inch touchscreen that offers resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels.

Motorola Xoom Available on Discounted Prices
21.05.99
Tablets are being sold at discounted rates in the markets of the US and UK. The trader Dixon has allotted a discount of £70 on the Motorola XOOM WiFi, which is being sold at £329.99 and the Motorola XOOM 3G, is being sold at £399.99.
With Dixon, now many other retailers need to think about discounting the tablets in order to increase their sale. However, the discounts made on the products were lower than that of the HP Touchpad's offered. Despite of the discount, the increase in the sales of the product remains uncertain.
Also, Verizon, in the US is offering discount on the electronic gadgets, which is expected to last up to Labor Day. The vendor has discounted the Motorola XOOM 3G (LTE capable) models to the price of $299.99 with a guarantee of 2 years. This is the best offer that one could make for Xoom in the market for the time being.

Motorola Xoom now £329 at Dixons
06.09.11
Dixons has just lowered the price of the Android Honeycomb-powered Motorola Xoom down to £329, presumably in a bid to get people to actually buy the device.
In case you’re wondering, this is the third time the Motorola Xoom has had its price tag slashed. The device cost £499 when it launched. That soon went down to £399 and now it’s been cut again to £329.
While this is quite a big price cut, we’re still not sure it will inspire the masses to go out and buy one. Motorola has struggled with the Xoom ever since it first launched , way back at the start of the year and even HP’s ill-fated TouchPad has now out-sold it.
