An iPhone 5 was recently lost in a bar . This is a repeat of the 2010 experience when an iPhone 4 was left in a bar. Apple needs a new policy that employees authorized to carry highly sought prototype devices shouldn't be allowed near drinking establishments.
The latest evidence that there are iPhone 5 devices operating comes from a picture that PocketNow has . It is a plate of sushi, but that isn't what's interesting. If you look at the exchangeable image file format (EXIF) data, it's clear this picture was taken with an Apple device.
While the EXIF data says it is an iPhone 4, other tidbits of data indicate that probably isn't so. The original image size is just under 8 megapixels,
Suspected Sellers of iPhone 4 Prototype Plead Not Guilty
Two men told the court that they are not guilty to misdemeanor theft charges that Apple filed against them with regards to selling an iPhone 4 prototype to gadget blog Gizmondo last year. They gave their not guilty plea during the arraignment before Superior Court Judge Jonathan Karesh.
Brian Hogan allegedly found the iPhone 4 prototype in a bar after it was left by an Apple engineer. His co-accused, Robert Sage Wallower, was charged with possession of stolen property. Both claimed that they didn’t commit any crime.
Judge Karesh set a pretrial conference for October 11 and trial is scheduled for November 28. Both defendants would not be required to post bail and free to roam around, which is common for non-felony cases.

I was readin that you can not pre-order the iphone 4 with a debit card ?? can it be done with a check perhaps ?? does anyone know ?

Answer by The Truthwell if you cant use a debit, then you certainly cannot use a checkidk why you wouldnt be able to use a debit card, are you sure theres enough in your account to cover it

While the iPhone 4s/5 has yet to be officially confirmed (rumors don’t really count), it’s only natural that if Apple were to roll out a new handset this year, they would at the same time start to cut down on production of the previous generation’s model. The iPhone 4 has consistently been listed as 24 hours shipping time in the past, but it seems that the time has been increased to 1-3 days.
The two carriers who are carrying the iPhone 4, AT&T and Verizon, have both listed the iPhone 4’s estimated shipping time to be between 1-3 business days. This apparently applies to the unlocked GSM version of the iPhone 4, and based on the trends of the past where MacBook Pro shipments were increased to 3-5 days before the new models were unveiled, it would not be a stretch to think that the increased shipping time in the iPhone 4 may be signaling a lack of stock, which in turn may mean that the iPhone 4s/5’s launch is imminent.
