How to transfer everything from iPhone 3 to iPhone 4?

My mum got a new iphone 4 today and she is wondering how she can transfer all of her contacts, pictures etc to the iphone 4 from the iphone 3. Please give me step by step.

I have an iphone 3 and service with AT&T
Nobody has a clue? I just get an extra letter on the phone?


The main differences are it’s a bit faster to load and run apps (the S stands for speed apparently…), has a higher resolution camera with video recording (3 mega pixel as opposed to 2 mega pixel for pictures) and support for faster 3G network speeds.

Can the iPhone 3 have custom backgrounds on the home screens with the new update?

I keep going to change the background on my phone, but I'm not given the option of making it the background for the lock screen or the home screens. Can the iPhone 3 even do that with the iOS4 update?


The iPhone 3G does not have the capability to multitask, change the home screen background, and use bluetooth keyboards like iPhone 3G S and iPhone 4. So, no.

This is not true. Generally they will only upgrade you in extreme events. Their warranty will replace any defected phone with a iPhone of the same model.

iPhone 4 4.3.3 jailbreaked with redsnow rc19 major issue

Hi there! I have an iphone 4.After I had to update to 4.3.5 I found a way I googled to downgrade to 4.3.3 changing the hosts file to saurics server and after the iTunes error 1013 I think, I exited the recovery mode using the fix recovery for 4.3. All good I jailbreaked via redsnow rc19. After a few cydia tweaks installed and restored my apps from iTunes , my iPhone from time to time throws a black screen , without locking it. As a result the ipod stops playing music if it is running . When I reopen springboard with the home button the brightness is lower... A huge issue! Any ideas??? Thanks
