Yeah it's worth it, it's like an upgrade and ur not rely losing money. Just remember to have all ur data on ITunes.(iTunes automatically syncs ur data anyway.)
They are all EXACTLY the same EXCEPT the memory it can hold is different, 16 gb is a lot but is least of the 3. Then the 32 which a ton, and the most memory is the 64 gb which you won't need all that memory unless you put about 30 movies on it.

that depends on how you are going to use your device most. example is you want to use the internet on the go, the 3g comes in handy but it you prefer lots of music, video, apps, ect then the 32 GB would be the best choice
