How to port Android on to a wondows HTC HD7 phone?

I'm afraid there is still not the available Android ROM for HTC HD7, the video and post you saw in the Internet is not a perfect rom, most of function can not run in HD7 with Android system. I hope you can wait fora good method. Bad may result a irretrievable

I doubt that T-Mobile will let you buy the HTC HD7 (or any smartphone) without a data plan.

Is there any other place you can get apps on an htc hd7 then windows marketplace?

i have got the samsung omnia 7 which is a windows phone and after a lot of looking at forums discovered that the only place you can get apps from is the windows market place. as for getting android apps i dont think you will be able to as its not an android

Your boss is wrong. The most similar phone to the HD7 was its predecessor the HD2, which ran Windows Phone 7's predecessor Windows Mobile.

Never owned an iPhone, desperate much? And like I said in my original post, pretty much just fanbois. Comments speak for themselves. WP7 IS a good feature phone. Mango will make it usable. But it was released practically a year ago. That’s a long time to wait for on emajor update. Weren’t you people blasting the Android OEMs for their shitty update schedules? Microsoft blew that right out of the water, it seems.

I don’t see how mango was ready a year ago when WP7 wasn’t even out yet. Mango hit RTM this past summer and OEMs are already getting ready to push those out to the carriers for the final touches.

What IS laughable is your mentioning of WP as a feature phone. Do you know what a feature phone is? WP is not a limited functioning device. Your entire comment makes me think you don’t know much of anything regarding this new platform.

HTC ROMs have been leaked and made their way onto the Internet, enabling users of the HTC HD7 to run ‘Mango’ right now, one day after a similar ROM file was leaked for the HTC 7 Mozart.

Last month, an unmodified ROM of the final version of ‘Mango’ found its way onto the Internet. Yet, the unmodified version contains none of the software HTC loads onto its devices, namely HTC Hub .

If you don’t want to lose these tools, you might be much happier with the customized ROMs that have leaked out today, for the HTC HD7 but also for a wide range of other HTC devices that came with Windows Phone 7 preinstalled, namely the Gold (Pro), Mozart, Spark (Trophy), and Schubert (HD7). The only one missing appears to be the Mondrian (Surround). Each of these ROMs, slightly different for each device, contain the final version of ‘Mango’, build 7720.68 along with all the HTC customizations, which you’d expect out of the box.

Before loading a custom ROM on any of these devices, make sure you have first removed brick it, forever voiding its warranty....
