did anyone who wasn't planning on buying the touchpad that just bought it for the $99 sale price have anything good to say about it? Reviews? Good? Bad? Details!
I heard that HP is getting out of the Consumer Tuchpad Market. Yahoo! News just had an article about how Apple smoked them on the Touchpads and they neglected their consumer customers to the point where they can't make a prophet out of it so they're pulling

im an experienced movie maker who is looking to get a cheap tablet to take with me on the go to create videos, the HP Touchpad has my eye, but it doesn't say whether or not i can make videos on it.
No, unless there is an app.......it doesn't have many apps and the last app anyone will make is a movie making thingy

New Hp laptop touchpad lock not working?

I got a new hp g6 laptop, but the touchpad lock is not working I guess.
When I double tap the corner area to lock/unlock the touchpad, nothing happens.
Is it broken or it needs
Reinstall the touchpad driver and try it.
It might be because of bad installation of driver.If it doesn't solve contact your manufacturer. There should be problem with your laptop in that case.

I want to disable the annoying property that allows you to tap it & thus simulate

Along with the end of the team, users get a first glimpse of Android 2.3.5 on their devices before the CyanogenMod team finishes their port. The instructions and files were released by the TouchDroid team, and we’ve simplified things below for your ease-of-use.

DISCLAIMER: The following article may seem intimidating for some at first but it’s easy and I write a lot so that hopefully it walks you right through the process. If you aren’t comfortable doing this, then don’t. But it’s easy and if you don’t like it you can always do a full restore back to stock on your Touchpad. Don’t blame me if something blows up, though. I’ve done this on two separate Touchpads with great results.
If you’re one of the lucky people that got a new HP Touchpad for $99 or $149 you probably feel pretty lucky. They are a steal at that price, but they can get even better. In stock form the Touchpad works pretty well, but it’s slow, lags, and skips which is one reason they did not sell well in stores. If you held an iPad 2 in the left hand and a Touchpad in the right there is (probably) no way you’d have paid the same money for both. That was HP’s downfall. But we can fix that!

The player takes on a mission to set free the friendly dragons. The dragons are bound to the ground by dark magic which the player has to abolish. A Windows, Mac, or Linux computer comes out, one of the first things people in the US try to do is see if Hulu works. It usually does… for a while. Then Hulu realizes that a lot of people are accessing its video streams from a new phone, tablet, or internet-connected set top box and it makes a change to kill access.
Then someone goes and releases a patch that allows Hulu to work again… until it doesn’t.
Right now the HP TouchPad is in phase two. Hulu recently noticed that there were actually people using the HP TouchPad tablet all of the sudden, and it hit the kill switch. So a homebrew app developer by the moniker of PuffTheMagic released an app called Hulu Fix that lets you watch Hulu streams in the webOS browser again.
