Is there a way to connect a SD card or USB drive to a HP Touchpad?

I bought a 32gb HP touchpad and I am trying to find an easy way to get pictures from my cameras SD card onto my new Touchpad. Please help
The Touchpad has a Micro USB connector. You will need an adapter cable to convert this to a regular USB socket, which can also be used (with an adapter) to connect an SD card.
The specs say it comes with a Micro USB cable, but they don't

Is the HP TouchPad Wi-Fi 16 & 32GB worth buying?
Aug 22, 2011 by Gilbert | Posted in Laptops & Notebooks
These touchpads were discontinued and are now on sale for 99.99 and 149.99, but is it worth the buy? Will the company be updating the software still? Will apps still be coming out? Or should I just not
WebOS has jack squat for app support and won't be getting any further ones. The only way those TouchPads will be useful is if someone gets an Android build running reliably on them.

HP TouchPad Push Slider on Bottom Right?
Aug 19, 2011 by Wilson Lam | Posted in Laptops & Notebooks
I have the TouchPad 32GB model and the bottom right has a push slider. What is it? When I push it out I find a serial code and model number.
What is it anyways? Its like pushing a SD card
It's probably a place holder for when there isn't an SD card inserted into the slot.

Fortunately, I was able to snatch a 32GB Touchpad from Amazon's Lightning Deals in time and have them ship it.
Unfortunately, it has been a week past the estimated delivery date and the tracking

HP TouchPad 32GB costs $328 to make, $10 more than iPad 2 ...
by Sebastian Anthony
When a shiny new tablet or smartphone launches, 99.9% of us want to get our grubby hands on it. The remainder, however, simply want to tear it apart to find out what makes it tick. The HP TouchPad launched on July 1, and now, six days later, IHS iSuppli has finished its teardown and provided us with the exact list of components and their cost: $318. With a manufacturing cost of around $10, and a sale price of $599, that’s quite a tidy profit margin indeed.
For the most part, the TouchPad’s hardware is comparable to the iPad 2. Curiously, the TouchPad uses the same LG display as the first-generation iPad — fairly old technology by this point — but beyond that, each of the components seems to tally up with Apple’s market leader. There’s is a whole gigabyte of DRAM in the TouchPad, however, compared to 512MB in the iPad 2 — but whether that will actually make a difference in app performance remains to be seen; it could simply mean that webOS is more demanding than iOS when it comes to RAM usage.

HP TouchPad 16GB $99.99, TouchPad 32GB $149.99 | Student ...
by Andrew
HP is liquidating the remaining inventory of the TouchPad tablet starting tomorrow (8/20), the 16GB TouchPad will be $99.99 and the 32GB TouchPad will be $149.99 . The sale will start at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. Considering that the TouchPad first went on sale back in May for $499.99 for the 16GB version and $599.99 for the 32GB version. There is no doubt this will be the best opportunity to get a quality tablet for $99 than you will possibly ever see again. Not even Black Friday deals will compete with this. Here are links to the deal.
HP TouchPad 16GB for $99.99 HP TouchPad 32GB for $149.99
There are a couple of HP coupons available that technically will work to knock the price down further (SAVE15HP for $15 off and SAVE30HP for $30 off), but the TouchPad has been excluded from all coupon codes so the price you see is the lowest you can get. It appears the HP TouchPad will also be discounted by other retailers, FutureShop.ca has already dropped the price on their site to $99 for the 16GB TouchPad , but it indicates the deal is only available in store and not online:
