Where can I buy a dell venue in italy?
Apr 16, 2011 by Dark | Posted in Other - Italy
I'm going on a cruise in europe this summer and while I'm there I'm looking forward to buying the Dell venue not Dell venue pro because they don't sell it where I live. Heres the places I'm visiting:
Apart from the fact that Dell doesn't sell through stores, it looks like the Venue isn't on sale in Italy.

Can the Dell Venue Pro get internet on on AT&T?
Jun 14, 2011 by Emily | Posted in Cell Phones & Plans
I know you can't get AT&T's 3G, but could you get 4G or even 2G(I know, unlikely). Or even just Wi-Fi? I really like the phone but I don't want to have such a powerful phone and not be able to use
If the phone is unlocked, it should be able to access AT&T's Edge network.

Dell Venue Pro a good mobile?
Dec 27, 2010 by Achyuth | Posted in Mobile Phones & Plans
Is the new Dell Venue pro the best slider touch phone with QWERTY keypad out now?
Is it worth the money?
Please give me your opinions on buying this..
Thanks
yes. it is a great phone and is worth the money. there are few glitches in windows phone 7 OS though they are not show-stoppers. the second iteration (comes out in few months) is going to rock.

Dell Venue Pro + Mango = September 20? | WMPoweruser
by Malcolm.Williams
Good news Dell Venue Pro users! Mango is coming officially on the Dell Venue Pro.
Dell has insisted, much like other Microsoft OEMs, that the Mango OS will be pushed out to current devices on September 20. Usually, Dell has a pretty good track record of releasing updates on Tuesdays (Nodo, firmware, Microsoft Security update). Combined with the other musings about Windows Phone Mango updates coming in mid September , the rumored release date gains some face validity. But to be safe, put the release date in the rumor folder because delays do happen
But if you really want to see a Dell Venue Pro running Mango, one has been spotted at IFA 2011. Take a look at the video provided by Moobilux .

Dell Venue Pro Officially Getting Mango on 20th September | Phone ...
by Lukehluke

Dell has stated that they will be pushing out the Mango update for their Dell Venue Pro, which is good news as we thought that the phone might not get the Mango update. According to WMPU , Dell have claimed that the update will be arriving to their customers on the 20th September. We are pretty sure that this update will happen on or around that date, but they might change the update day and so we will keep an eye on it.

Dell Venue Pro

Build quality of phone is very good but keep in mind that it is HEAVY. about 193gms - thats HUGE by any standards! - This was the reason I didn't buy Venue Pro. I was using Nokia C7-00 before shifting to Samsung Focus. C7-00 is ~150gms and I though that was a bit heavy (when you hold the phone for longer periods you will understand the pain of each extra gram) About Techenclave.com

My Thoughts On Dell Venue Pro | WMPoweruser
by Pradeep

After long time, I had a chance to play with Dell Venue Pro device for more than a week. It was the only device, which I want to play with and never had a chance to do so. Though it would be inappropriate to look at a old generation device, I just want to share my experience with the device. Even though the device looks great as its specs, what about sales of the device ? Why it didn’t became a top seller? Find my thoughts on Dell Venue Pro’s software and hardware and Dell’s execution on these device after the break.
Regarding Software :
Dell Venue Pro handles both Windows Phone NoDo and Mango as smooth as we expect, which is not anything special as every Windows Phone device does it. I heard complaints from users related to Wi-Fi bug , random restarts, some freezing moments due to firmware. But seriously, I didn’t even restart the device once. As I got an unlocked Dell Venue Pro device, there was no carrier specific apps.

Yes, it's the Dell Venue, and no, you still can't buy one outside Hong Kong or South Korea just yet. All we can speculate is that this Android phone is facing the same manufacturing issues as its WP7 cousin, but hopefully we're wrong. Anyhow, what matters is that we've finally gotten our hands on a retail unit of the Snapdragon-packing Venue. So is it worth the wait for Androiders distanced from the Far East? And will this handset be the answer for our love-hate relationship with the Streak? Head on right past the break to find out. Dell Venue review
Hardware
It's hard to deny that Dell's come a long way with the styling of its mobile devices, evolving from the cheap-looking Axim Windows Mobile PDAs (although the X50 series received much love from the community) to the now eye-catching Venue duo. Like the Streak, we've had people inquiring us about or at least eyeing at our Venue -- we're guessing it's mostly to do with the rounded chrome sides contrasting the black body, and the vibrant 4.1-inch AMOLED screen certainly helps as well despite its low visibility under strong daylight. Upon closer inspection, you'll also notice the subtly curved "Shear Design" Gorilla Glass -- which is also featured on the Venue Pro -- that covers practically the entire face of the phone, thus contributing towards the Venue's premium look no matter what angle you look at it from. Funnily enough, Dell didn't place much emphasis on the Shear Design's ergonomic benefits, but some of us feel that the curvature makes our thumb-swiping gesture slightly more comfortable. Maybe it's just us.
