I can upgrade my contract phone on the 20th of September. I'm torn between the Sony Erricson Vivaz Pro and the Dell Streak. I like the style of both, but I am open to other suggestions.

i will personally go wid Dell Streak (unless budget is d problem)
it has large screen area (5" , dats really good) , higher resolution) , android os , camera is same , better processor (so it will not slow down easilly , good for video

If you should ever even think of buying an apple computer(sorry for my agony), try buying a real computer and not a giant iTouch.=P Apples are really cool looking and good for video/audio editing.
Please don't get an iPad. Android based phones

I've been wanting a tablet for awhile now but I'm not too good on picking the best one.
I have been looking at three now but I'm not sure if these are good or there is something better.

Well, I have had this Motorola Xoom a few days and here is the lay of the land. I have been very pleased with it overall. It has that same well built feel the droid phones have. I haven't checked the listed weights, but it feels like it weights the same

Dell has been working their way up the ruler over the past year or two, releasing the 5-inch Dell Streak followed by a 7-inch version of the tablet. But with the Dell Streak Pro, the manufacturer is finally playing with the big boys. The 10-inch tablet has been pictured sitting pretty next to its smaller counterparts, flexing its Honeycomb muscle in all its glory. The Streak Pro marks Dell’s first Android 3.0 slate and also sports a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU, 1GB of RAM, and dual cameras. The 10.1-inch screen has a resolution of 1280×800.
The Streak Pro is said to be headed to China this week, though no mention has been made of a release in other markets.

Update: Even more interesting is the photo above seems to show Honeycomb running on the Dell Streak 7 too, either that or a new 7″ version that could be coming to market. Interesting photo because that would make it Android 3.2 on the Streak 7.
The Dell Streak Pro 10″ is just like most tablets at the moment. Running on Android 3.0 Honeycomb as we can clearly see in the photo. It will feature a 5MP camera on the rear and 2MP on the front, 10″ 1280×800 resolution screen with that all powerful, all knowing NVIDIA Tegra 2 dual-core CPU speeding in a 1 Ghz.
Last we heard it should be shipping to stores in China starting next week but we still have nothing regarding a price, or a U.S. launch. The Streak 7 didn’t do that well with the low resolution screen and what not and it was right before Honeycomb started making a big impact for buyers.
Dell also packed Dell Divide – a software interface used to quickly shift the tablet from work mode to home mode. Each mode has its strengths and is one way to ensure flexibility for the device. Connectivity is provided via WiFi – but 3G is supposed to be on the way with a future model.
The Streak 10 Pro will be exclusive to China for a while, Additional tablets are supposed to be on the way, with rumors of a Windows tablet in the offing. Dell’s already released 5-inch and 7-inch Android models to the market but none have been exclusive to China.
Dell is hoping that the large emerging market in China will be big enough for them and Apple to to share big shares of the pie. With a prospective customer count in the millions, they may just be right.
