Apple MacBook ProWinter 2011 (2.3GHz Core i5, 13-inch)
The good: The CPU updates to the 13-inch MacBook Pro offer big leaps in performance. The machine has phenomenal battery life, and its excellent ergonomics, keyboard and large, smooth, multitouch trackpad are still among the best available. It also comes with 720p HD webcam.
The bad: Graphics performance is slightly worse than last year's 13-inch Pro. The 13-inch screen resolution is still low compared with the MacBook Air. The Thunderbolt port is an unknown quantity until accessories become available. There are limited upgrade options, and no HDMI orBlu-ray.

@powermix24 yeh it is bassicly a large itouch but then wots wrong wiv that? because of the bigger screen u can do so much more, u can also make music on it, garage band is fairly decent plus theres also many ova applications. Now im not saying ipad is heavenly and amazing as it aint but i just got annoyed at ppl saying its faster than ipad when it may well have more working memory but because of how easily ios is read its not as fast in the same way.

I staved off of buying this for a while because of some “not so glowing” reviews that focused on what I now consider minor to asinine nuances of the product. The handwriting recognition software is simply amazing, spend the time helping it help you make that experience and you will be more impressed. I don’t have enough good things to say about this, I will warn, don’t get this if you’re planning on trying to “game” on it. That is not what it was built for. I am a professor. I bought the EP121 to enable me to read papers, annotate them, connect remotely to my work PC. I also wanted to be able to use it to teach instead of using the chalkboard and to use it for taking notes at conferences. I initially purchased the iPad2 but I heard that it had compatibility issues with the projection system in the classrooms and also that the MS office app does not work well. So I decided on a platform that runs Windows7.
