Is it possible to connect an ASUS EEE PC 1005HAB to surround sound through the audio (headphone) jack?

I do it all the time with my iPhone, I have a cable that goes straight from the headphone jack to my surround sound. However, when I plug the netbook in, the sound only comes out one speaker, and I looked

you wont get "surround sound" but it should play stereo and if your sound system is setup to play stereo input over all its speakers it should play them all. try headphones on the jack, if you still only have one side, which if your sound system

I uninstalled the drivers and operating system of my Asus eee PC 1005HAB. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I uninstalled it by trying to reset my computer to factory settings and when it didn't go like the directions, I pulled the power.

If you have the windows 7 disc all is ok. Restart the computers and go in to the bios set it to boot form the cdrom. The windows disc should be in the drive. Follow the information on the screen.

Is an Asus Eee PC 1005A the same as 1005HAB in size?

Hey guys, I just got my Asus Eee PC 1005HAB in the mail today so forgive my ignorance on the product. So far I'm thrilled with it and I'm already trying to find different ways to customize it to my liking

Should be fine, the size of all high spec Eee pcs (like yours) are all 10 inch screen
The skin will be heavy duty and thick so dont worry abot the engraving

I'm looking at the asus eee pc 1005hab. I want to be able to surf the web, go on AIM, video chat, use iTunes, and possibly do some school work either on microsoft works word processor or microsoft word.

I'm on a asus eee pc 1005HA I have tried oc'ing but its not worth it. You get no noticeable speed boost however if you are cold it could double as a nice heater.
