Will Sony's New Tablets Have an Edge Against iPad?
01.09.11
The Sony S tablet, running Android 3.1, features a 9.4″ screen that is similar in size to the most popular choices currently available. It also features a Nvidia Tegra 2 processor much like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Asus Eee Pad Transformer. This, combined with front and rear cameras and a host of other expected features means that on paper this tablet is a reasonable entry into the market.
Sony feels strongly that they can edge out the iPad with their offer of full integration with the music, video, gaming and digital book sides of the company. Certainly they have an edge in the gaming market with their highly successful PlayStation brand, but how that will translate into tablet functionality remains to be seen.

Asus U36Jc Review
19.08.11
Asus has been on a roll lately. Everyone was surprised by the success of the recently released Eee Pad Transformer , which according to some figures is now the second best-selling tablet on the market. Critics have widely praised the subtly redesigned G74 gaming laptop. And according to Amazon, the company’s laptops and netbooks frequently make visits to their top 10 lists.
For those who’ve had their on eye laptops for some time, this success isn’t a shock. Once known best for its motherboards, Asus regrouped and launched a new expedition into the laptop market several years ago. This has resulted in a host of consistently competent product lines. Among the most successful is the U series, a line of small laptops that offer outstanding battery life at affordable prices.

E-Readers: Offering an Intellectual Treat!
02.09.11
Compared to Anglo-Saxon parts (America, Britain, Australia and other such places) of the world, where there has been a steady decline for years in the number of books people have been reading, particularly young people, emerging countries like India and China have always considered ‘reading’ an important activity. Visiting a book shop in Mumbai or any other large Indian city is a real pleasure, as you find yourself surrounded by people of all sorts and ages, sitting on the floor, leaning on the walls, deep in books, which they then buy after having “tested” them properly.
Readers across the world, in particular India, who swore by printed books, have begun to see the advantages of an E-Reader today.
