I recently purchased an Asus Eee Pad Transformer Tablet. I went to the android market located on the tablet and selected apps. I clicked on the install button and it says it is downloading/installing.
Have you set up Google account for your tablet?
Maybe you can try the other way to download app. You can browse Android Market from PC and when installing it, Android Market asks you where the app should be set to. Choose your device and

I have just brought and asus eee pad transformer, and it wont connect to the internet. But I don’t know why. Can anyone help me please? I think may I entered the wrong password in for my wi-fi account.
Tell it to forget the network, then reboot your device. The network should show up again - at which point you just re enter your password correctly.
This is how I do it on my xoom at least, and it also runs honeycomb. Should work.

Which device is over all better I can't decide they are so much alike I have to have hdmi out and USB ports and ad card reader) which both have) and I love the price that's why I can't decide
Actually the Asus doesn't have a USB out of the box. You have to buy the $150 bluetooth keyboard.
So I would say go with the Acer Thats what I'm going to do in a few days.

I'm thinking of buying a tablet and have reduced the options down to these two.
Both run Honeycomb OS with the same Tegra II processor but the ASUS tablet is $100 cheaper than the ACER one

Netflix Support Arrives for Asus Eee Pad Transformer
25.08.11
We absolutely love the Asus Eee Pad Transformer but one thing that has been missing is the lack of support for Netflix. As it stands, the only Honeycomb tablets with Netflix certification are the Lenovo IdeaPad K1 and ThinkPad Tablet but that doesn’t mean that a little sideloading can’t be done. Today though, an update rolled out for the Eee Pad Transporter and it appears that Netflix can now be sideloaded on board.
Droid-Life is reporting that a minor update, specifically build 8.6.5.9 is rolling out and it looks like its aim is to take care of issues that went down with the Android 3.2 Honeycomb update .
That’s obviously not all. It appears that this minor update has brought along Netflix support with it as Eee Pad Transformer owners are saying that they have sideloaded it and it works perfectly.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer: A Tablet and a Netbook | Android ...
by Brendan Ley
There are many different Android Tablets on the market today, and it may seem hard to decide which one suits your needs the best. Most of these tablets are very expensive, which makes shopping for one slightly difficult. ASUS wants to change all of that, with their new tablet, the Eee Pad Transformer. What’s special about this tablet, aside from the detachable keyboard dock, is the price. The Transformer is available for $399.99 for the 16GB WiFi model, and $499.99 for the 32GB WiFi model.
The detachable keyboard is what truly sets the Transformer apart from the other tablets. The dock will set you back an extra $150, but when you learn all of the features, it’s well worth it. Not only does the keyboard make typing a breeze, but it also houses a second battery, which can essentially double the battery life of the tablet. I picked one up a few weeks ago, read on to see my full review of the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer.

ASUS has unveiled a new tablet designed specifically for the enterprise market called the Eee Slate B121. It may not be that next-gen ASUS Eee Pad Transformer with the quad-core Kal-El processor running Android that we're all excited about,
The Eee Pad Transformer, however, comes in an elegant and unique shade of brown that ASUS calls Espresso. In addition to this, the backside of the tablet, as well as the underside of the dock, is coated with a geometric star pattern.
The Asus Eee Pad Transformer is pretty slick on its own, but it gets even better when you add the optional keyboard/docking station. Wow. Quite the hubbub this weekend over the discontinued-and-then-price-slashed HP TouchPad, which buyers gobbled up at
He points out that the Asus eee Pad Transformer has quickly become the number one-selling “open” tablet in a number of international markets. Its success, he says, is a design which delivers against the demands of a market spoilt for choice.
