Satechi, online retailer of gadgets and practical accessories for devices, has unveiled the Satechi ST-TP01 Car Holder Mount. The device is a convenient-to-use smartphone holder designed to fit in a car, thus facilitating safe driving while having the device placed accessibly and securely.
The accessory is supposed to hold a smartphone or tablet of five to ten inch length. Apart from evidently being most compatible with all iPhones, Blackberry, Samsung, HTC, ECO, and DROID models, it is also said to efficiently support iPad and iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab, Galaxy 10.1, ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, Motorola Xoom, Blackberry Playbook, HTC Flyer and Viewsonic GTablet.
Google has already stated a number of things about its announced $12.5 billion acquisition of Motorola Mobility, including that Motorola wouldn’t be favored in making future Nexus products as well as other hardware partners in the ecosystem reacting positively to the announcement, but what we haven’t heard is how Motorola will add value to the Android platform moving forward to set Android apart from iOS, Windows Phone 7, and BlackBerry.
In the past, hardware-makers had to innovate on top of Android, both on the hardware and software side. HTC and others came out with their own user experience layers; in HTC’s case it was called the HTC Sense UI. On the hardware side, we’ve seen tablet-makers like Asus creating laptop docks that effectively changed a tablet into a notebook, as in the case of the popular Eee Pad Transformer. Motorola, which had its own secret sauce, created the Webtop OS, which was loaded alongside on some of the company’s Android handsets, and could be enabled when docked into accessories like the laptop keyboard dock or the home multimedia dock.
ASUS U36 Laptop: Laptop mobility has never been better with the U36. Weighing in at just under 1.5 kilograms, the U36 is the lightest notebook with a standard voltage Intel Core i5 Processor, and a discreet nVidia Graphics Card for the best in performance graphics!
Microsoft LifeCam: Webcam video quality continues to improve with a sharp 1080p HD sensor and a high-quality lens. Equipped with TrueColor technology, a live video capture is bright and clear in all lighting conditions.
Logitech M305 mice: Be less restricted with this cordless mouse from Logitech. With a series of sleek, fashion colours and an ergonomic emphasis, the M305 is both Windows and Mac compatible and has a meter that tests battery status.
In our recent detailed coverage of Asus' ever-fab, Editor's Choice-winning Eee Pad Transformer tablet, we told you that even better things lie ahead as Google rolls out their 3.1 release of Android Honeycomb. Little did we know that roll-out would be coming sooner than later. Today, a buzzy, fuzzy little Bumble Bee floated a new Transformer...

The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is designed to be ideally paired with its $150 keyboard dock — hence the name — but thanks to Amazon Germany we are catching wind of a few more accessory options for those choosing to forego the laptop transformation. Though not yet available, Transformer owners should soon be able to pick up any of three new accessories, which include USB and SD adapters for what amounts to $27 and a docking stand with USB and SD ports built in priced at $41. Amazon lists the items as shipping one to three months from now, so it could be a while. Heck, the second-generation Transformer might even be out by then.

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer is one of the more versatile 10 inch Android tablets around, because you can plug in an optional keyboard dock accessory to pretty much convert the slate into a laptop. The keyboard dock has its own battery, providing up to 7 hours of additional run time. It also has a touchpad for navigating the Android operating system without reaching up to the display. And the keyboard dock has 2 full-sized USB ports and an SD card slot.
But without the $150 dock, the tablet has a microSD card slot and a proprietary docking port. If you want to plug in a USB accessory or full-sized SD card you’re out of luck… for now.
...Some new accessories and docks for the highly popular ASUS Eee Pad Transformer have been spotted on Amazon Germany. What apears to be a nice desk dock with added USB ports, as well as some HDMI adapters and more. This is most likely a move to provide accessories to those that don’t want to buy the expensive keyboard dock but would still like options.

You can see our review of the Transformer here where we go over the transformation into a laptop via the accessory keyboard dock for a better idea. If that isn’t something you’ve been wanting to buy then maybe these new leaked photos show something you’ll want.
