anyone know Where i can get a replacement LCD screen for an archos av700 mp3 player? (7inch) I have cracked it and it does not look like the insurance people will pay out. Thanks

It's unlikely you'll be able to get the screen replaced mate. These things aren't designed to be serviced or repaired.

Sounds silly but when I connect the 'hard drive' cable, all I get is a warning about copy protection. How to get round this? Not covered in the 'easy to use, quick start, users guide'.

There are still laws in the UK against this, so whatever you do, don't search for and download MPlayer and MeWIG and use MeWIG's DVD converter mode to rip the DVD to MPEG4.
