I'm trying to decide whether I want a 28 tablet or 32 tablet. If someone has an archos, then it would be pretty sweet if you responded to these questions:
1) Is it too small?
2) Is
I'm trying to decide as well between those 2, I prefer android way over iOS, so here is what I'm thinking.
1. It's pretty small, about the size of a messaging phone screen size, but if you think you can deal with that, then it will fine

Does the Archos 32 internet tablet have a password lock?
Apr 03, 2011 by ol painful | Posted in PDAs & Handhelds
Since its pretty much the android equivalent to the ipod touch, does it have a password screen too?
lol i know its too small to be called a tablet but thats their name..anyway just wondering
oh gosh im sure it does but why would you ever want that thing - if you want a REAL tablet for a similar price, get a galaxy tab or something. That thing isn't a tablet. even iphones/ipod touches have bigger screens, and they're tiny.

Does the Archos 28 or 32 Internet Tablet have built in speakers?

No just the Archos 43. But they both have Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Wireless Bluetooth speakers might work with it.

(5 diggs) Archos 32 Internet Tablet review
Sep 24, 2010 from engadget(Engadget)
With there now being five (oh yes, five!) Archos Android Internet Tablets on the market, it's understandably hard to keep 'em all straight, but in our minds the 32 is easy to separate from the rest - it, along with the 28, is more of an Android PMP than anything else. With 3.2 inches of resistive touchscreen, the 32 packs the specs of a typical media player: 8GB of storage, media player software with support for loads of audio and video formats, and a VGA camera. But unlike most, it runs Android...

We’re still struggling to understand how exactly a device with a 3.2-inch display is considered a “tablet,” but at any rate, the Archos 32 is now available for those who’d like to pretend their shiny new PMP is — in fact — a tablet. Shortly after we sat down with this here handheld, Archos has managed to get ‘em rolling off of the production line, and since you’re curious, we’ll have you know that $149.99 buys a 0.39-inch thick device with a 3.2-inch touchpanel (400 x 240), Android 2.2, 800MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, an
I'm still trying to comprehend how exactly anything with a
3.2-inch touch screen display can be considered a "tablet", but for the most part, the Archos
3.2 Inch Internet Tablet is now available for purchase by those who'd like to call their new PMP a "tablet". A little while after handling this here "handheld", Archos
has managed to get them hitting store shelves all across the country. What about the COST, right? Well FYI (For Your Information), $149.99 gets you a 0.39-inch thick
device, a 3.2-inch touch panel screen(400 x 240), Android 2.2, 800MHz ARM
Cortex A8 processor, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, with an internal
microphone, a G-sensor, and playback support for pretty much every type of file format you can possibly think of. The battery life can last for as long as a full 24 hours when you're listening to your favorite genres of music, but it only manages to rock out for about 6 hours while you're sitting back with your eyes glued to your favorite movie during a moment of your free time. As far as tablet standards go though, I'd have to say that its pretty good and actually worth the money. Not bad at all.
