What's so special about the Apple iPhone 3 update (version 4)?

Just updated my iPhone 3G and I don't see the big deal. What is special about this new update that took over an hour?
I searched the similar question yesterday. in trying to find the answer I ended up getting the newest iphone for free from 2iphone4focus.tk!!! the iphone is scheduled to ship any days now and im loving it!!!

How to reset apple ID password on Iphone 3?

I have an iphone 3 thats I bought from someone but I can't download any apps without the apple ID password. I have noway of contacting the person who sold it to me to get the password. How can I reset
As this is a second hand phone, reset the phone to it's out of box factor settings, create YOUR OWN iTunes Account and start fresh.
But do make a note of any apps currently on the phone, you might like to download. And yes if the apps are

How to download Apple 3.0 to yr iPhone?

I didn't get to update my iPhone with Apple 3.0, but I manage to download it from a website. But now my question is how do I upload it to iTunes and sync it to my phone?
on windows in itunes hold the shift key then while holding the shift key press restore it should then give you an option to select a file you want to restore. Just select the 3.0 software you have downloaded.

Apple has purportedly extended shipping times for almost all its product line especially iPhone 4 which was previously available within 1 day and now its been extended to 3 days on Apple online store. We saw such kind of move during launch if iPhone 4 as well which came as successor to 3GS so it may be a vacuum for next iPhone. Such kind of move from the online stores are mostly due to new product launch otherwise its declared routine maintenance before the launch of new device.

I feel certain that if Vanessa ever becomes President of the United States, her inaugural address will contain some memorable line, such as "The only thing we, like, have to fear is, like, fear itself," or "Ask not, like, what your, like, country can do for you; ask what you, like, can do for your country."

You’ve heard of pocket dialing I’m sure, but here’s a new one: dog dialing.
Just waking up and laying in bed this morning, Kato comes to my side to get petted (she’s a pet, der). Seconds later I hear my phone making some noise. What’s that? Dialing? Yeah, she had stepped on the iPhone’s only button for three seconds to activate "Voice Control". The conversation Brit and I were having somehow triggered it to dial a long lost business contact.
