You can! You'll have to buy an adapter for it! I believe they have iPad 2 HDMI adapters! You can check my store, I'm not sure if we still have some in stock. We probably do, but a small quantity. Check out the link below!

Can the iPad Replace a Laptop?
May 18, 5506 by Moodyman | Posted in Laptops & Notebooks
I'm very stuck between what to do. Between a Sony Vaio laptop or the Apple iPad 2, im not sure which to get. If i had either one, i would basically use it for web-surfing, email, and typing documents.
ok for READING content on the net.
Less fun for "interacting with content"
and
Utterly useless for creating content.

As your question is about which one you should get (because I think you have convinced yourself that you want one) I will give it a shot.
It really depends on what you want from it. If all you want is Internet, Apps, books, and movies

Apple iPad 2 Dock Review
If you need a dock for your nifty new iPad 2, you should consider this Apple made dock.
It features a convenient audio line out port that connects to powered speakers.
Definitely glad that I purchased ipad 2 dock, does exactly what it’s designed for.
Pros:
* Small footprint
* Enough weight to support the iPad 2, feels sturdy unexpectedly due to small size.
* Line out jack for your audio pleasure
* Looks good (Surely, it is Apple made, man)
This dock makes a nice vertical stand for the iPad 2, and also makes it easier to charge the unit.

Connect the dockto a TV or video projector using a compatible accessory such as the Apple Digital AV Adapter, the Apple VGA Adapter, or the Apple Component or Composite AV Cable.** Connect the dock to a stereo or speakers using an AV cable or a stereo audio cable to play music from iPad 2. This is a very handy and useful feature of this dock.

IPort has unveiled their new wall mounted inductive charging system for Apple’s iPad 2 this week, which consist of three parts. A PowerShuttle hard case for your iPad 2 fitted with inductive charger, a BaseStation table top charger and a WallStation wall mounted charger.
The system starts charging your iPad 2 wirelessly, as soon as you dock it to either the WallStation or BaseStation, watch the video after the break to see it in action.
The great thing about using an iPad is that you can tote around a skinny device instead of lugging your laptop. The bad thing is that the iPad’s virtual keyboard isn’t great for extended typing sessions. It’s fine for dashing off emails, but I wouldn’t use it to type up this article.
Fortunately, a market has sprung up to solve this problem: physical keyboards that work with the iPad, either on their own or as part of iPad cases. I tested four of them, and I wrote this review using one.
These devices all had several things going for them. All were easy to connect with the iPad, either wirelessly via Bluetooth or, in the case of Apple’s physical keyboard, a dock connector. They all had a row of buttons to do such things as control music playback or switch to the home screen.
Unlike its cases, which seem to annually redefine how little can be put into boxes and sold at high prices, Apple's iPod, iPhone, and iPad docks have generally been good values over the past seven years. Always made from glossy white plastic and based on rounded rectangular shapes, these docks most commonly have sold for $29 and featured two rear ports -- an audio output and a Dock Connector input/output port. So it's no great shock that the iPad 2 Dock ($29) roughly follows this template, but a couple of changes in this year's version make it less appealing than its same-priced predecessor.
