Okay, so...I'm still in school (9th grade) and I have a laptop and desktop...but I fear that the laptop will break because its

i will buy note pad anytime , i am not comfortable with ipad , for me , laptop all the way .
in notebook you will have more harddisk , more ram , you can play games , you can install new software and you can do much more things , more over a laptop

Having had an iPad for several months now I can say it is a cool & useful gadget, but absolutely NO replacement for a laptop. That being said if your concerned at all with the usability of your current laptop or potentially being outdate soon (slow)

I feel your pain. My iMac saved me $6,000.00 because I never had to "tweak, fix or replace" anything! Really. It just keeps working.

Last December I had trouble with the Hard drive, so Applecare replaced it with a drive twice

Do I get the ipad or ipad 2?

hey apple fans! i have a dilemma which you could maybe help

because i only have a certain amount of cash either i go for the old iPad 32GB wifi + 3G OR i get the iPad 2 32GB just wifi.

Unless you KNOW that you are going to be using 3G, I would opt for the faster iPad 2. The newer model comes equipped with a dual-core processor, a new thinner design and a front and rear facing camera, complete with Facetime and 720p HD video recording.

Hey, so were planning on picking up the iPad, 32gb Wi-Fi+3G model tomorrow. However, were not sure if we should go to the apple store or bestbuy. It goes on sale at 5PM tomorrow so I was wondering

It will only be available at Apple. I'd get in line at about 4. I think Apple will have plenty of inventory.

I ordered an iPad 2 on June 11th, and on apple's website, it says that it won't come until July 7th! Why does it take almost a month to assemble the thing and ship it to my house? I did get it engraved
