Is the 16GB Apple iPad a good idea for a birthday present?

I'am wanting to get the new Apple iPad WIFI 16gb model for $500, but I don't know if its worth all that money. I love my iPod touch to death and sue it constanstly everyday. What do you think???

I think you should wait for another generation or just avoid it all together. There are many other gadgets out there that do way more than the ipad for the same amount or less than what the ipad costs. Besides..you might be able to upgrade your ipod touch

I'm getting the dirt bike. The bike is very clean and runs great.

Seems like a no brainer for me to go through with the trade, I only spent for $400 for the iPad, but I want other opinions

If the bike has a title you just won the lotto but if it doesn't have a title don't touch it.

This deal sounds too good to be true so be careful.

I doubt it goes down substantially. They might knock $50-$100 off of it, but there's absolutely no way to know when/if it's going to happen.
