What is the best android tablet on the market right now?

I need help deciding. I know apple's ipad is the king of tablets however android has alot more flexibility with how much you can modify your tablet to how you want it. But I am having a hard time deciding,


Definately the Motorola XOOM by far my current favorite, saving up to get mine now and have been doing a ton of research, i dont like the ipad because it doesnt have an operating system and im tried of having to buy apps to run anything. The xoom is way

well the Samsung Galaxy tab is the best Android Tablet but also one of the more expensive. an ipad 2 is around the same price as the samsung galaxy so why dont u just get that. it has a front cam so u can face time and skype.

How do you transfer music from an android tablet to an Mp3 player?

I downloaded music to my android tablet pc and i hook my mp3 up to it through USB. How do i send music from the tablet over to the mp3 player. Step by step or explanatory is fine.


1. connect your android tablet to computer with USB cable, select as disk mode.
2. find the music in the disk, and copy it out.
3. connect your MP3 Player to computer.
4. drag the music into your MP3 Player.

I recieved a MID android OS tablet as a gift. It is Android 1.6 kernell version 2.6.29 and I can't connect it to my wifi station. I have worked with it for hours and all other devices read the wifi, but


This particular model of Android Tablet requires a 802.11b/g Wi-Fi network connection in order to function. I suggest checking out what frequency your router is broadcasting on. If it is an N router you are out of luck. If it is a multi-frequency router

First of all, Android is Linux. It's a custom Linux kernel with a special software layer on top. And the customizations to the kernel and the software layer sitting on top of it are pretty important for it to run on the rather specialized smartphone

Intenso Showcases New 8-inch Android Tablet

Newfangled gadgets and gizmos blasted off this year at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA 2011) global trade show held in Berlin. One of the exhibitors showcased the Intenso Live Tab, a frontliner tablet from Intenso for this year.

What does the Intenso Live Tab have to offer?

Aside from the usual hardware details that have become standard for tablets (e.g., WLAN, USB port, microSD expansion slot, etc.), the Intenso Live Tab has an 8-inch display with 800×600 pixel resolution and a 1.0-GHz single-core processor.

Unlike most other Android tablets which sport Android 3.x Honeycomb, this one has has Android 2.3 Gingerbread as its operating system.

The tablet can stream video via an HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) port. A decent 2-megapixel primary camera is also on board.

Since the details about the Amazon Kindle Tablet were unveiled, many thought about whether this will be an iPad killer, which would be pretty good for the Android ecosystem, since it will be running an older version of Android, but in the same time others say it will actually be an Android tablet killer, because iPad’s position is secure, so the Amazon tablet will wipe the floor with the other Android tablets. So which is it? Will the Amazon Kindle tablet kill the iPad? The Android tablets? Both? Or none of them?

I think the Amazon tablet will kill none of them, because of one simple reason – they address different markets. So in the end they will all end up expanding the tablet market, rather than kill each other. It’s just that Amazon will approach it from a different angle – the specialized reading tablet. So the Amazon tablet will primarily focus on getting users who love reading books, but they don’t like some of the disadvantages of e-ink (no color, slow refreshing, blackouts on page turns), and would also like to have some tablet functionality and applications.

The S and the P are Sony’s log awaited foray into the tablet PC arena and were introduced to the Berlin crowd by bullish CEO Sir Howard Stringer who took no prisoners in his opening gambit. He started by issuing what can only be described as fighting talk to apple: ‘We will prove that it is not who makes the first that counts but who makes it better’ and his speech progressed it became apparent that no one was safe from his scathing tongue, in his effort to loose friends and alienate people he also took swipes at Fox, Samsung and Warner Brothers.

Politics aside its time to let the tech speak for itself the S and the P are two very different tablets with the former being a fairly regular tablet apart from its sloped screen and the later sporting a clamshell design (Nintendo DS style!) that makes use of some interesting dual screen features and can easily fit into any handbag (or man bag if you will – just making it cleat we’re not chauvinists here at ATF). The USP of the Sony tablets is that they feature a huge array of connectivity features with a large selection of Sony and other TVs making it child’s play to switch between pictures, movies, music and TV, apps channels from the tablet on to your big screen. Its basically the same as the Apple Airplay system only you don’t need to buy an Apple TV box. Both tablets come with a Nvidia Tegra chips running Honeycomb and a dual cameras the rear being 5 megapixel and capable of 720p video , the P features a 4GB internal memory and two 5.5 inch screens while the S is available in 16 and 32GB versions both with a 9.4 inch screen.
